Speech Pathology services

Building confidence to communicate through connection and play

About US

We are a private speech pathology service, located in an inviting home clinic in Hawthorne, Brisbane.

We provide evidence-based speech therapy intervention that is tailored to the individual needs of the child and their family unit. We love to involve children’s special interests within our therapy sessions to provide fun, engaging and motivating activities that children can’t wait to join in with!

We partner with parents and care providers within therapy, extending our care to both home and childcare environments in order to provide holistic support for children.

Who we See

We primarily provide early intervention services for children under the age of 7, however, we will see children up to 10 years of age.
We see children with the following areas of difficulty:
  • Late talking
  • Language delays and disorders
  • Speech sound delays and disorders
  • Social skills
  • Selective mutism
  • Stuttering (under 6 years of age)

It is important that your child has a speech pathologist that will meet their communication needs. If we do not think that your child’s needs can be met through Brisbane Kids Speech, we will seek to direct you to another speech pathologist with skills in that area. We currently do not provide services for literacy, feeding difficulties or  school-age stuttering.
